History and philosophy

of Recovery Innovations International (Mental Health)

Recovery Innovations International (Mental Health) was established in 2005 to provide Australians with high quality Australian and International recovery resources at an affordable price. This small business is completely Australian owned and operated. Since 2005, a range of mental health recovery resources have been added to the business products list, as well as undertaking training of mental health consumers and service providers and independent consultancy work within the mental health sector.

Recovery Innovations International (Mental Health) continuingly looks for opportunities to increase the access and affordability for people living with mental illness, community individuals and service providers to the high quality and innovative resources available in order to maintain mental health wellbeing.

Our key principle is:Australians have a right to access mental health recovery at an affordable price

Our core vision is: To provide affordable recovery resources, information, education and training to support people to undertake their recovery journeys of choice.

Our core philosophy is: "Recovery is for Everyone"

With this in mind, we support 3 highly worthwhile Charities.

With every e-Book sold, $1 will be donated to each of the following charities:

  • CAN (Mental Health) Inc. is an independent consumer run, not for profit charity, supporting people living with mental illness by people living with mental illness. This organisation is based at Brookvale, Northern Beaches, Sydney (Australia) and provides a range of recovery activities within metropolitan Sydney and peer support services across Australia.   • Habitat for Humanity (Australia) – a not for profit charity enabling people living on low incomes to realize their dream of owning their own home. Habitat for Humanity is also a worldwide organisation with strong international links and projects. Check out their website at: www.habitat.org.au
  • Breakaway is a not for profit charity providing camps for people with disabilities on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. They also provide people who have chronic illnesses a break by participating in one of their camps. Check out their website at: www.campbreakaway.com.au.
